In this edition of the TCSNews, you will find some practical ways in which you can help Timothy families with tuition assistance. There are still plenty of families in our community who have been adversely impacted by the economics of COVID. We are awarding record tuition assistance this year — literally double what we planned for! Yet in an era that has been harsh to much of the working class, including many Christian schools and Christian school employees, the good ship Timothy is successfully weathering the storm.
There are so many ways that you can help off-set your tuition or help another family. This week we are highlighting the Children’s Tuition Fund. Next week we will be highlighting other programs that involve daily consumer habits of ours, and it’s simply a matter of directing available funds to Timothy.
My wife, Julie, and I participate! Last week we became grandparents for the first time as we welcomed Oliver Matthew Davidson into the world. Our family is already praying that Oliver will someday join the Timothy community and be able to receive a Christ-centered and Bible-based education. So I’m making this appeal to you as Superintendent...and also as “Grandpa D.”
Why is this so important? Because we’ve committed to locking arms together as one community — this year more than ever. The list of issues fragmenting our society is growing. But our mission at Timothy unites us. Our mission is of such importance, especially now, that it needs to be shared! You can help by getting involved in some of these financial aid programs. And as Timothy functions ever stronger as one body, I believe the best is yet to come.
Matt Davidson, Superintendent
