We have a unique opportunity here at Timothy to acquire additional real estate. In recent years, we've reached the coveted status of capacity in our enrollment. Although this is a rare achievement in Christian education, at least in states like ours with no school choice initiatives, it can also be harmful to our recruiting efforts as the word spreads about waiting lists. This chance to increase our footprint in Elmhurst will unlock doors for future growth and will open opportunities for our future.

Thanks to the generosity of many donors, we are within reach of funding the land purchase without the long-term help of a lender. At our record-setting Auction on Saturday, April 12, we’ve received gifts of all sizes – from parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, alumni families, and general friends of Timothy. However, we are pushing hard to raise the balance of $600,000 and thus entirely cover the cost.

We have an opportunity to purchase this land and position us for the future. In some ways, this should be one of the most exciting campaigns we’ve ever had because it impacts everyone. Ultimately, this will provide extra room for Timothy Christian Schools to partner with even more families for the mission and the cause of Jesus Christ.
