The Timothy Christian High School girls tennis team started their season on a winning note, capturing first place at the Ottawa Friday Night Tourney. This was accomplished against much larger schools and a first for Timothy. Sophomore Jane Carter dominated at 1st singles dropping only two games in three matches in taking the title. Juniors, Crystina Lee and Clarissa Chen, also swept through the competition at 1st doubles not losing a game until the finals vs Ottawa. All ten Timothy players picked up victories enabling Timothy to top host Ottawa 32 to 31 pts.
