On Friday against Ridgewood, Timothy Christian High School girls volleyball coach Scott Piersma reached a career milestone 200th victory, in just his 8th season as varsity coach.

Three times over his first seven seasons, Piersma has racked up over 30 wins — a feat only accomplished twice in our school’s history (2000-01, 2011-12) dating back to 1974. In 2015, Piersma led the Trojans volleyball team down to state for the first time in school history, placing 3rd in the 2A division. Since taking over during the 2013-14 season, Piersma has led the Trojans to 3 Regional titles, 2 Sectional titles, 1 State appearance, and 4 Conference championships. Congratulations Coach Piersma!
