The golf team had a solid showing at the Providence Catholic Invitational at The Sanctuary in New Lennox. The team achieved its best team score since playing in the event with a 329. The team was led by Senior Captain, Jack Bone, with a 79 and followed by Josh McMillian (82), Casey Folkerts (84), and Tyler Wolterstorff (84). They enter the final week of the regular season with a home match vs Latin, and then end with the Aurora Central Catholic Invite, Saturday, September 17th. Next week the team will have the Conference Tourney at Kankakee Elks Golf Course (September 19th) and look to build from last years team success in the IHSA State Series, beginning with Regionals on Wednesday, September 28th, at Minnie Monesse Golf Club.
