On Saturday students attended the Illinois Music Educators Conference in Peoria and sang in the ILMEA elementary All-State boys and girls choirs and high school All-State choir. The students worked every morning before school in January on their music with Ms. DeJager and represented Timothy with approximately 200 other elementary choir students from all over the state of Illinois.

Sophomore Abby Tameling (pictured above) held a coveted place in the high school All-State choir. Over 1000 students state-wide auditioned last October for approximately 200 spots. They performed at the Peoria Civic Center on Saturday.
