On Saturday, over 200 students participated in the annual ILMEA (Illinois Music Education Association) Middle School District 1 Auditions. These students all competed at Summit Hill Junior High in Frankfort, IL by playing scales and passages in hopes to be selected to perform at the MS Festival Day. All 3 Timothy orchestra students that auditioned,  Elin Eiseman, violin – 6th grade, Leah Hoffman, viola – 7th grade, and Henry Schueler, cello – 8th grade were all selected to perform on November 9 at Joliet Township High School at 4 pm. Students will spend the day in rehearsal with a guest conductor. Congratulations students!
