Thank you Timothy Christian Community for supporting the middle school coat drive! Last week, the middle school partnered with One Warm Coat and Feed My Sheep to collect coats to be distributed in our community.

The staff decided to aim high, thinking that our goal of 200 coats might be hard to attain, but what  "if everybody brings just one coat!" Well, they did! With the support of the Timothy community, we collected 219 coats along with many hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves.

As a surprise to us, many of the hats were made and donated by the high school sewing class!  Another fun fact, Thrivent Financial donated money to the Coat Drive that we will use to buy additional coats!  And the collection is continuing this week as students from 2nd grade also wanted to find ways to help our community. We are cheering you on 2nd grade!
