Team Timothy:

We’re one third of the way! Please continue your cooperation with the Timothy Health Plan, and above all -- keep praying!

Here are the current metrics for our school. The plan is working!

  • over 260 negative results recorded (if you received an email every time we recorded a negative test, you would get approximately 4.5 emails from Timothy PER DAY)
  • Additionally, due to the definition of “close contact” and our contact tracing at Timothy, we are also aware of any positive cases in our homes (parents, siblings, etc)...and we are not seeing any troublesome data
  • 27 positive cases on the entire campus
    • 1,200(+/-) people on campus each weekday
    • starting week 14 of school (1/3 of the way!)
    • Elementary School: 8 positive cases (597 students in the elementary school)
    • Middle School: 6 positive cases (184 students in the middle school)
    • High School: 7 positive cases (392 students in the high school)
    • Staff/PreK-12: 6 positive cases
    • 7 of the 26 are from the 8th grade (1 teacher, 6 students) *although it sure seems like we’ve had some transmission in this grade, most of these cases have had possible or certain exposure outside of school as well, so it’s hard to say with certainty either way...in the meantime, much of the 8th grade is in quarantine -- per our health plan and local/state/national guidelines
    • 11 of the 27 are from just 5 households (over 600 households in our community)
    • 6 of the 27 are staff (including the 8th grade teacher noted above and even a few part time aides)
  • 3 entire grades on campus without a single case -- ZERO
  • 6 entire grades with only 1 case
  • in other words, 9 entire grades with 1 case or less!

Each time we have a positive case, particularly with contact tracing, our team springs into action! Folks, we spend 3 to 4 hours working every time we have a positive case -- including nights and weekends. Timothy is giving it everything we’ve got to make this happen for our youth and accomplish this mission impossible.
