Varsity Girls Basketball Wins Conference Championship

Congratulations to the varsity girls basketball team on winning their first Chicagoland Christian Conference Championship! The team finished 6–1 in conference play and secured the title with a 58–33 victory over Wheaton Academy.
The team was led in scoring by Maria Pozdol-Niego with 17 points and Lyla Plaiser with 16 points. As a whole, the team played tremendous defense.
The team is currently on an 11-game winning streak. Congratulations as well to junior Elisabeth van den Berg, who scored her 1,000th career point on Friday against De La Salle High School.
