Competing With Integrity
Go Beyond.

It feels like just yesterday I was walking my oldest son into his first day of preschool at Timothy Christian Schools. He’s 22 now and just graduated from college. And somehow, my youngest is already a rising senior. I’ve put three kids through Timothy, and I can honestly say: it is so worth it. The rigorous academics. The Christ-centered community. The Biblical worldview that has shaped not just what my kids know—but who they are.
Timothy isn’t just a school—it’s a mission-minded community that partners with parents to raise up the next generation of servant leaders, all for the glory of God. I’ve watched my kids thrive in classrooms led by teachers who care deeply about academic excellence and spiritual growth. I’ve seen them grow through sports, musicals, clubs, and deep, lasting friendships. And I’ve witnessed their faith deepen as they’ve been surrounded by adults who consistently model what it looks like to follow Jesus with courage and integrity.
But it wasn’t just my kids who found a home here—I did, too. I’ve prayed with other parents in parking lots and on the sidelines. I’ve walked through heartbreak and celebration with families who share our faith and values. I’ve watched my kids grow up with peers who encourage and challenge them to live out their faith. Because who your child spends time with matters.
Timothy is a place where courageous leadership is cultivated. In this issue, you’ll read about students stepping up through DECA and VEI, where they’re not just mastering 21st-century business skills—they’re learning to lead with character and conviction. You’ll see how our athletic teams compete with purpose, how our Renew trips give students a heart for service, and how our teachers and coaches are forming students who are ready to live out their calling in a complex world.
This generation needs bold, Christ-centered leaders—and that’s exactly what Timothy is developing. Leaders who are academically prepared, Biblically-rooted, and equipped to make an impact for Christ.
So, to the parents just starting the journey: hang on, you’re in for the greatest adventure of your life! It goes fast. But trust me—it’s worth every moment.
Thanks for being part of—and praying for—Team Timothy. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy this issue of The Reflector. You’ll see why being part of Team Timothy has eternal value.
