4x100 Relay Races to 3rd Place State Finish

Timothy’s 4x100 relay team of Chandler Brady, Vivek Alex, Owen Hoving, and Peyton Scholma raced to a spectacular third-place finish at the IHSA State Track & Field Finals. Competing on the state’s biggest stage, the Trojans showcased precision handoffs and elite speed as the quartet delivered a blistering, new school record of 42.75 seconds. Competing with unwavering perseverance and all for the glory of God, this powerful relay team cemented its place among the top relays in the state of Illinois.
In all, eleven Timothy athletes competed at the IHSA State Meet:
- 4x800 relay (Dylan Barr, Peter Azzinaro, Josh Kooy, James Decker) - 33rd place
- Luke Cudney - 800, 25th place
- 4x200 relay (Travis Huiner, Vivek Alex, Owen Hoving, Peyton Scholma) - 18th place, with a new school record of 1:31.43
- Peyton Scholma - Long Jump - 13th place
