Dr. Mitchell Leads Professional Development in Bangkok

In fact, High School Principal Dr. Brad Mitchell recently returned from a five-day visit to Thailand, where he led a professional development day at Bangkok Chicago Christian International School (BCCI). The school is led by Principal “Pastor Mac” Wiener—formerly Mr. Wiener, a longtime Timothy Bible teacher—and serves students from preschool through 12th grade in just its sixth year of operation.

Teachers at BCCI benefited greatly from Dr. Mitchell’s expertise and engaging presentation. Pastor Mac shared that the response was overwhelmingly positive, with feedback such as “the best PD at BCCI,” “the presenter is professional and truly knows his craft,” and “I loved everything I learned today—thank you so much!”

In addition to leading professional development, Dr. Mitchell spent several additional days visiting classrooms and meeting with faculty, serving as a leadership mentor to the BCCI team. He also enjoyed experiencing Thai culture, great food, and warm January weather. Principal Wiener and his wife, Jeanne, were deeply encouraged by Dr. Mitchell’s visit and his meaningful service to the BCCI community.
