Thrilling Doubles Victory Secures Conference Title for Boys Tennis

On Tuesday, Timothy picked up a 3-2 conference win over Wheaton Academy to go undefeated in conference play and win the Chicagoland Christian Conference regular season title. With the team match tied at two wins each, the outcome came down to Court 3 doubles, where Michael Grandolfo and Merritt Stolzenbach won a thrilling match, 4-6, 6-4, 11-9, to give Timothy a 3-2 win and the regular season championship.
On Saturday, Timothy competed in the Bison Quad with teams from Fenton, Elk Grove, and Stagg, finishing with 81 points and tied for second place.
Hudson Tseng and Elliott Tandy completed singles play, each going undefeated at 3-0 and earning gold medalist honors.
