Timothy Christian High School Earns AP® School Honor Roll Gold for the Second Year in a Row

Amy Bode

Gold again! For the second year in a row, Timothy Christian High School has earned Gold distinction on the AP® School Honor Roll, recognizing our continued commitment to academic excellence and college readiness.

AP (Advanced Placement) courses are college-level classes that challenge students with rigorous academic work while offering the opportunity to earn college credit. Launched in 2023 by the College Board, the AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs deliver strong results for students while also broadening access and participation.

What does this recognition mean? It means Timothy students are not only taking AP courses—they are thriving.

  • 173 students took 320 AP exams last year.
  • Average AP score: 4.0.
  • 94% of test-takers earned a score of 3 or higher (qualifying for college credit).
  • 45% of the sophomore class took at least one AP course.

That’s remarkable.

Timothy graduates aren’t just college ready—they’re entering college with college credit. AP courses are just one more way Timothy ignites academic growth.
