Dr. Robert Swierenga has had a long career in academia: a prolific author, a respected scholar and an engaging teacher, which are all rooted in Christ-centered education.
All three of Joel and Jill Rhiner’s sons graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University, University of Wisconsin followed by Northwestern Law School, and University of Arizona. They credit their boys’ wildly successful academic careers right back to teachers at Timothy.

Meet Dr. Mitchell — high school principal, father, and alumni. Dr. Mitchell believes in Christ-centered education and the importance of leading by example.
Arnold (“Arnie”) Hoving went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2021. He had served at Timothy for 36 years from 1958 to 1994. During his legendary career at Timothy, he served as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent.
Joel Matthew (Class of 2000), founder of Fortress Consulting, leaned into his faith and discovered ways to thrive as a Christian, father, husband, and businessman in a pandemic.
Outstanding Young alumni Taylor Hoogendoorn (Class of 2011) is currently serving as a Supreme Court Clerk to Justice Samuel Alito. Taylor has kept the "Main Thing the Main Thing" throughout his studies at Baylor University, Yale Law School, and into his young career.
Fifty years ago, Ardythe Tiesenga brought the Picture Lady program to Timothy. Not only does she still volunteer, but she has inspired countless students with art and developed a community of volunteers with friendships that span decades.
Over 1200 people attended Timothy’s Homecoming festivities.
Ariana Smith ('17) produced her first single, "Bridge to You" during the pandemic. Ariana fervently believes that there is beauty to be gained from our losses— and not just new music. Because of the pandemic she has a renewed sense of obedience to wherever the Lord calls her.
