Coach Mills recognized for his accomplishments and service to the tennis commuity.

Tennis coach Keith Mills has been playing tennis for 50 years. He’s been a coach at Timothy Christian High School for 16 years. And he’s never met another player like Abygale Ahn. “Abygale is a once in a lifetime player,” Coach Mills says. “Playing two sports and going to the State tournament four years in a row, plus dedicating all her time to academics is unbelievable and very commendable.”

The duo, along with sophomore Cassie Lee, made a formable team. Abygale and Cassie made two trips to State as a doubles team. With Mills as their coach and mentor they placed 3rd in State.

In the spring Coach Mills took five players from the boy’s tennis team to State — the most in school history! Not only that, but Coach Mills was named Regional Coach of the Year. “I was surprised,” he says. “But it is gratifying that all our accomplishments were recognized.”
