Matt Davidson Leadership Award

President of the school board Joel Tameling presented Matt Davidson with a Leadership Award at the auction. Matt has been a true visionary and leader during this unprecedented time. When other school districts went fully remote, Matt led the way with a robust Health and Education Plan for in-person learning.
The students at Timothy are thriving because Matt is a true champion for them! During a normal school year, Matt attends every game, concert, and competition, oftentimes attending multiple school events a day. Even though many events have been canceled, Matt continues to meet with high school students every Wednesday for his UNSTOPPABLE Bible study.
Not only is he an extraordinary leader, he genuinely loves the students at Timothy! Matt has been steadfastly focused on the best interest of every student during a worldwide pandemic. He is a man of genuine faith, Biblical wisdom, and leadership as the Superintendent of Timothy Christian Schools. To the Timothy community he is part CEO, part teacher, part mentor, and the biggest fan of the students. Congratulations to Mr. Matt Davidson on this well-deserved award!

Arnold (“Arnie”) Hoving went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2021. He had served at Timothy for 36 years from 1958 to 1994. During his legendary career at Timothy, he served as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent.

Outstanding Young alumni Taylor Hoogendoorn (Class of 2011) is currently serving as a Supreme Court Clerk to Justice Samuel Alito. Taylor has kept the "Main Thing the Main Thing" throughout his studies at Baylor University, Yale Law School, and into his young career.

Fifty years ago, Ardythe Tiesenga brought the Picture Lady program to Timothy. Not only does she still volunteer, but she has inspired countless students with art and developed a community of volunteers with friendships that span decades.
