Support

For the Glory of God

What we aspire to do — educate servant leaders — has not changed for over a hundred years. For generations, churches, grandparents, and friends have provided financial and volunteer support along with a commitment to prayer. We are thankful for their generosity and support of Christ-centered, Biblically-based education. For more information about our development efforts and giving opportunities, please contact Matt Davidson or Robert Venhousen. By God’s grace, we will continue to educate servant leaders who glorify God for generations.

Year-End Giving To the Timothy Fund
Amy Bode

When you donate to The Timothy Fund as part of your year-end giving, you are part of helping to develop courageous leaders who fully live out their purpose in the world for Christ.

From Matt Davidson: Donate to the Christmas Bonus Fund
Matt Davidson

I'd like to open up this opportunity to the entire Timothy community. YES, you read that correctly -- anyone is able to contribute to the fund this year. 100% of the contributions will go toward a formula-based Christmas bonus for all Timothy employees and your gift will be considered a charitable contribution.

Forks For Funds: November 18
Amy Bode

Take a break from making dinner and support Timothy Christian Schools. Place a to-go order from El Famous Burritos at their Lombard location (256 Roosevelt Road) or their Glendale Heights location (1165 Bloomingdale Road) on Wednesday, November 18 and 30% of all proceeds will be donated back to Timothy.

New to You Truck Canceled
Amy Bode

New to You is closing for at least three weeks. They hope to reopen on Monday, December 7. Because of this, the truck will NOT be picking up donations on November 16 or December 3.

Don’t forget! Bring coins to school to support Project IMPACT 3! Just bring them in ziplocks to your teachers.

Project IMPACT 3: K-8th Grade Coin Drive
Amy Bode

Gather all your loose change and send it to school with your K-8th grader on November 16-20. At the end of the week, each class will weigh all their coins—and students in the top 3 classes will each receive a slime ball. Plus, Principal Horne has agreed that every class will have a pajama day to celebrate!

Timothy Christian Schools Recognized As a Member of the ECFA
Amy Bode

Timothy Christian Schools has been officially recognized as a member of the ECFA. This is the single highest endorsement in the non-profit world for business principles and finances, and a heavily scrutinized third party/objective expert opinion. This is the "blue ribbon award" for non-profits as it relates to business.

Project IMPACT Phase 3: Excellence Inspires People And Unrelenting Excellence Honors God
Amy Bode

Simply put, the answer is “YES, we are staying the course!” You will likely recall that the project is taking place over the next two summers (2020, 2021). Incredibly, we already have commitments for over $7MM and each of these donors are standing behind their pledge despite the economic volatility. We are receiving positive feedback on the project from other donors, our faculty, and certainly from our students. We will not use long-term debt on the project as we remain fiercely committed to staying debt free. The Timothy Auction, which has been moved to the fall (TBA), will also go toward funding Phase 3.

The Foundation Board
Matt Davidson, Superintendent

The mission of Timothy Christian Schools is more important than ever before, and the Foundation is a fundamental key to our success in the adventures ahead.

Help Support Christian Education
TCSNews

Christian education is more important now than ever. There are many households in our community whose incomes have been negatively impacted because of COVID-19. Some families are even worried about returning to Timothy in the fall. But we want everyone back!
