For more than 105 years parents have enrolled their children in Timothy Christian Schools because of our unwavering commitment to give their children a strong Christian foundation. Churches, grandparents, and friends have echoed this commitment by providing financial and volunteer support along with a commitment to prayer. FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS & EVENTS
In 2017 Timothy Christian completed Phase I of Project IMPACT, creating a new building for our 7th and 8th grade students and an incredible athletic facility that has greatly served the school and the broader community. In April of 2018, we announced the commencement of Phase II of Project IMPACT, the construction for which starts in the summer of 2018. Phase II of Project IMPACT will bring furniture and technology upgrades to the high school, grade school re-purposing and renovation, and much more.
The Timothy Fund supports all aspects of our school’s mission and vision and helps to keep Timothy within financial reach for all of our families.
The TCAA Golf Scramble is our annual Timothy Christian Athletic Association fundraiser to raise $100,000+ for our Athletic Program. Many friends of Timothy come out each year to sponsor this event and golf with us in the Fall.
Each spring hundreds of Timothy families voluntarily participate in a school-wide (K-12) Jog-A-Thon that provides an opportunity to move the school forward in exciting ways. Over the past eight years, this fundraiser has grown to be a favorite event among students, full of friendly competition and culminating in a 30 minute jog/walk.
Timothy’s Bi-Annual Auction is a memorable, entertaining and always lively event that is hosted off-campus in collaboration with PiE (Parents in Education). This spirited evening raises money for specific Timothy needs or development projects.
This is an annual event at Chicago’s beautiful lakefront the day before the main Chicago Triathlon, providing a family friendly atmosphere for participants of all ages and athletic abilities. Students, parents and friends of Timothy can participate and help raise funds to support campus development.
Partners in Education (PiE) is Timothy’s parent partnership. PiE exists to promote Christian education at Timothy through hospitality, teacher support and fundraising activities to increase parental involvement, build Christian community and provide resources.
The New to You Upscale Resale is a combined effort of Timothy Christian, Daystar School, Humboldt Community Christian, and Chicago West Side Christian. All proceeds from store sales are exclusively used for the advancement of Christian education in the four schools. Timothy receives 50% of all profits and the balance is divided among the three partner schools.
FOUNDATION, PLANNED GIVING & MATCHING GIFTS
A strong Foundation helps ensure that Timothy Christian Schools remains a viable option for all families desiring a quality, Christ-centered education in the Reformed tradition. The Timothy Foundation is growing — current assets are just over $4,500,000 which provides critical support for families needing tuition assistance from supporting and affiliated churches. The Foundation also supports faculty development, funding for new programs, and other donor-selected restricted projects.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies sponsor programs whereby employees can have either all or part of their donation matched as an additional gift to the school.
