Children's Tuition Fund
The Children’s Tuition Fund (CTF) can help make Timothy more accessible to more students while helping you reduce your tax liability.
Do you pay Illinois state income tax? You can work with Timothy Christian Schools and the Children’s Tuition Fund of Illinois to help get more deserving students into our school! Through the Invest in Kids Act, you can receive a 75% tax credit with the state of Illinois and direct part of your state income tax to scholarships for Timothy.
In 2017 the Illinois Legislature passed Senate Bill 1947 (also known as the Invest in Kids Act), allowing individuals and corporations to direct up to $1,000,000 of their state income tax liability. For every dollar you give to a scholarship granting organization for the benefit of a Christian school, you can receive a 75% tax-credit. You may direct your individual or corporate state income tax liability. The Children’s Tuition Fund of Illinois (CTF of IL) is a scholarship organization that focuses on placing eligible students in great Christian schools. CTF of IL makes sure your charitable donation is recognized by the Illinois Department of Revenue and that the donor receives a tax-credit for that donation. The funds available are limited and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. To help you take advantage of these credits, CTF of IL has created a step by step outline of the contribution process. To find out more, visit childrenstuitionfund.org.
