Golf Outing

Team Timothy Celebrates a Record-Breaking Golf Outing

At Timothy, athletics is more than just winning titles and state trophies — athletics serves as a training ground to develop leaders who compete with integrity. Timothy coaches strive to promote working together in oneness, conquer fears, overcome obstacles, look for lessons and motivation in loss and for humility and opportunity in victory.

The Timothy golf outing is more than just a day of golf. It means so much more to us. Did you know that Timothy’s athletic program is heavily funded by private donations, 90% of which come through the golf outing, making it the largest and most significant athletic fundraiser while keeping these costs out of tuition.

On September 15, 2025, 230 golfers headed out to Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora. It was a perfect day.  We realize the incredible blessings of this great weather adding to our time of  golf and great fellowship. We started the morning and afternoon rounds reflecting on Hebrews 10:24-25. “And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”  We reflected on our school theme this year “together in Christ” and how good God is to our school and how faithful He is to bless us with amazing students and very generous donors. This was a true team effort. We could not do this without everyone's help and participation.

Great things happen when we come together in Christ with a common purpose! Join us in giving God praise and thanks as we celebrate another record-breaking year with revenue exceeding $275,000 for the first time ever!  We celebrate and give thanks for our 91 sponsors, 230 golfers, 26 volunteers and 34 student athlete ambassadors. For the fourth consecutive year our event revenue exceeded $230,000! Amazing!

To all of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, student ambassadors and Golf Committee members – you played a critical role in our achievement. Thank you for coming alongside us to build an excellence-driven athletic program at Timothy Christian Schools. Everything we do — on and off the field – is all for the Glory of God.

Congratulations to our 2025 golf contest winners and thank you to our 2025 sponsors:
