The Timothy Foundation

In 1978 Timothy Christian Schools was named the beneficiary of a $28,000 bequest from the estate of Aunt Tena Huizenga, a friend of Timothy who dedicated her life to Christian missionary work. The Board of Directors took this bequest and established the Timothy Foundation as a way to provide support for the sustainability of Timothy Christian Schools. The Timothy Foundation continues to grow and provide support each year for tuition assistance, faculty development, funding for new programs, and other donor-selected projects.

The Timothy Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees accountable to the Timothy Board of Directors. The Foundation assets are just over $5,500,000 and are invested in a managed and diversified portfolio. A strong Foundation helps to ensure that Timothy remains a viable option for all families who desire a Christ-centered education.
