Timothy Christian High School’s Virtual Enterprises International (VEI) program headed to Pigeon Forge, TN on Sunday, November 19 – Tuesday, November 21 to compete in the annual Southern Region Conference & Exhibition. For this event, students designed a trade show booth, promotional materials, and conducted sales presentations.
In addition, the VEI firm competed in a variety of marketing competitions including elevator pitch, marketing plan, sales presentation, and impact marketing. The Timothy Christian VEI firm known as Core Inc. took 1st place for Impact Marketing designed by Elizabeth Bradley.
VEI is an in-school, live, global business simulation that offers students a competitive edge through project-based, collaborative learning and the development of 21st-century skills in entrepreneurship, global business, problem solving, communication, personal finance and technology. Through developing and managing businesses, students gain expertise in problem-solving, decision-making, communication, collaboration, technology, and accessing, using and analyzing information—21st-century skills that are key to success in both college and careers.
